FINISHED PRODUCT
I made this tabletop with no wood glue. The woven effect was created by using Japanese puzzle joinery. If the correct piece is chosen and hit in the correct direction, the entire tabletop will come apart.
DRAWINGS
The drawing below gives a clue about how the tabletop was made. While constructing this project I didn't use any power tools. All the half-laps and bridle joints were made with a Japanese saw and chisel.
